POLARBEAR

POLARBEAR is a novel telescope with the main goal of measuring the polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). It is searching for the signature of gravitational waves generated during the period of cosmic acceleration known as Inflation. POLARBEAR will also be able to detect the effects of gravitational lensing of the CMB by large scale structures along the line of sight back to the surface of last scattering. Gravitational lensing measurements made by POLARBEAR will have the potential to set powerful constraints on the mass of the neutrino.
